Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
Uses various markers in order to assess your overall health. This is one of the most commonly ordered tests by physicians when conducting a physical.
Screens for diabetes and pre-diabetes in adults. It can also be used to monitor the glucose control of patients already diagnosed with diabetes.
Used to help determine an individual’s risk of heart disease.
Testosterone, Total and Free
Used to measure a variety of hormonal problems in men such as low energy, low sex drive, hypothalamus or pituitary disorders, testicular tumors, and more. Men who have either used Anabolic Steroids or are currently on Testosterone Replacement Therapy can also use this test to monitor their testosterone levels.
Vitamin D, 25 Hydroxy, Total, Immunoassay
Used to screen for Vitamin D deficiency, which can lead to low energy and bone malformation. People who spend the majority of their time indoors or have recently undergone gastric bypass surgery use this test as they are at higher risk for Vitamin D deficiency.
Evaluates adrenal gland function and for adrenal gland cancer screening.
The Thyroid-Stimulating-Hormone evaluates thyroid function and/or symptoms of a thyroid disorder, including hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism.
A Prostate Specific Androgen screens for prostate cancer in men.
Used to detect the presence of inflammation. This is often seen as a symptom of arthritis, autoimmune disease such as lupus, vasculitis or inflammatory bowel disease.
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin
Measurement of SHBG in addition to testosterone is especially helpful when total testosterone results are inconsistent with clinical signs.
Vitamin B12 & Homocysteine
Used to detect certain anemias or autoimmune diseases that prevent the body form properly absorbing B12.
An 8-12 hour fast is recommended prior to your test.
Results are typically ready in 7-10 business days or less.
